Weird flora
Riding over Abinger Roughs towards Holmbury on Sunday, we came across a huge colony of mushrooms in one of the fields, just off the trail. Very weird!
Sadly, it looks like they won't be around for long - it's definitely chilly down here this week.

Abinger Roughs is a truly fantastic place for fungi.
It's particularly good for Augustus and Fly Agaric.

I've been told they were a sort of bracket fungus - they seemed to be growing from the roots of an oak tree.
